A few of you might know, or have heard of Dr. Jim Dobson. He started the "Focus on the Family" organization 33 years ago. It has grown into a huge organization over those years. Today/Tomorrow are his last two days there. The organization will continue, but Dr. Dobson is stepping down from the helm.
Tuesday is the only day I've made it to work. I got sick and it's not being nice. I was attempting to go to work today when all of a sudden I heated up, got dizzy and felt nauseous. The nausea passed but we thought I should go to the doctor's. Of course the dr never works with our schedule and so the timing is screwing with Mr Woo's work day because we are down to 1 car at the moment. I am trying so hard not to get him sick because Mon is his birthday AND he leaves for S.Carolina that night. He has a trip for his work anniversary. He has a runny nose and a slight cough already :/
Anyway this is me checking in. *waves*

Morning all. Snow day for me here. Things changed so we haven't received the predicted amounts. Thankfully. However, the is still a lot of snow and it has drifted due to the high winds. It is still snowing, so I'll wait for it to stop and the I will dig out. Fun. In the meantime, snow on.

Good day, all. Quiet one so far here at Camp Happy. I have yet to venture out of my cubicle to see what is going on in mohican land. Sunny and 25* at the moment. YAY!
Lunch for me today will be leftover enchiladas from last night unless someone talks me into going out. Not sure yet on dinner.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
I know it's a bad week when my boss, who is a co-owner of the company, is celebrating that it's Friday and saying, "I hate this job."
She had a customer (who only ever orders from us when there is an emergency, because we're the only one that can turn it around that fast) who called yesterday afternoon wondering if she could get 4 business cards, 250 each, printed by noon today.
My boss told her yes, because she could get it out quickly using the digital printer. The only thing standing in the way was that we didn't have the special paper that they always use. So she called the paper company and convinced them to sell us just one ream (because none of our other customers use this paper, so we didn't need a full case). We got the paper first thing this morning, and she printed the business cards.
The customer picked up the business cards while my boss was out at lunch. When she got back my boss found an email from the customer saying, "The business cards look great, but we're using gray linen paper now."
I thinking of picking this book up for my boss over the weekend:
