I got a happy surprise when I checked out the 10 day forecast today and found they'd changed it to be low to mid-forties every day for the entire ten days!!!
A few days ago they said we'd be in the high 20's / low 30's for about five of those days, so it's a nice improvement.
In fact, they're claiming we'll even have a couple of overnight lows that stay in the 40's! SPRING IS COMIN'!!!!
Not much planned for today. Gonna run to Sam's Club in a little bit, then spend the rest of the day being depressed about having to return to work tonight.
Good day, all. Today was another technologically challenged day for me. Since yesterday's adventures with trying to get my phone fixed didn't pan out so well I decided to take the phone back to the service center and see if there was something they could do
I walked in and explained my plight to the greeter and then again to one of the sales people who assured me that my phone could be fixed free of charge within 10 minutes... not a biggie, it is just stuck in headset mode. No reason why it wasn't fully working with the headset plugged in, but never mind that. So I wait the 10 minutes, then go back to talk to the service people who inform me that my phone is hopeless. They can order me a new one but that will take a few days and will cost me $120, so I might as well just buy a new phone. $300 later, I leave with a Treo Pro. Yet another circus later, my new phone is now activated and I haven't a clue how to use it properly.
On the up side, it was almost 60* here today and I cooked dinner on the grill. Someday I will sort out how Windows 7 and the Windows OS on my phone work. YAY me.
