I'm mad at my boss. Last week, she had a nasty cold, but she came into work anyway. I told her to go home, but she wouldn't. It started with a sore throat.
My day is all screwy from getting here late. Mr Woo was all dizzy and I stayed with him a bit trying to figure out what was wrong. Nothing made sense with what he was telling me. Then he had me call him every hour to see how he was doing. Just got of the phone with him and he sounds better and is coming to work. We're wondering if we caught a migraine early. His head didn't hurt but he had pressure. But now I am having a hard time finding my work groove. I guess I'm pretty used to my routine- lol

I would have taken the whole day off, but Mr. DS will be out of commission for the remainder of the week, possibly some of next. The surgery went well. They scraped out the bone fragments and patched him back up. That's really all they could do for him seeing how it was crushed. The toe next over wasn't broke, so that is good. Left him at home on some good drugs with his foot elevated...

Don't feel bad, DS... I'm just now getting here too! Thaaaaaat's right... just got to work 10 minutes ago. Found out as I was getting ready to leave for work this morning that my daughter in law got popped for driving while suspended. Had to take her to Topeka (the state capital) so she could get her driver's license reinstated until she goes to court for her DWS.
Oh yeah... it stormed most of the way there and back.

I should have just taken the whole day. I came in so the receptionist who usually leaves at 4 wouldn't have to stay until 5, but she is being all cold shouldered... bleh...

I think I'm gonna call it a half a day. Hoping tomorrow will work out a bit better for me. This morning started out funky even before I was asked to help Anna out with her plight... e-mail from my sister informing me that our brother apparently got dumped by his 7 months pregnant girlfriend. This is not what I would qualify as a shocking development. Honestly, I'm surprised it lasted this long. Just waiting for his mayhem to hit full swing again... he's so pathetic when he gets dumped. No dignity whatsoever.

His kid. Shortly after they started dating, he told me she was pregnant. Turned out to not be true then but apparently is now. For the record, this is the same chick who he claimed has MS, Lupus. Lyme disease, and cervical cancer. The due date is May 25th. Can't wait to see how this all shakes out.
