Good day all.

I have to keep reminding myself that it's Thursday, it feels like Friday.

I'm actually in a fairly good mood today.  We'll see how long that lasts.

Howdy folks.

Home with the boy for spring break but we have a thin layer of snow.

The processor called yesterday that our beef is ready so we'll go get that (30 miles) some time in the next couple days.

We gotta go get the boy some paint so he can paint his tank.

Thursday on.

Hi all!  It's a gorgeous day in my neighborhood; sunny and 66 degrees outside!! clap.gif
We're supposed to get rain moving in tomorrow and lasting all through the weekend but I'm not going to let that spoil this beautiful day. smile

I just finished up with the last of my friends' tax returns....glad to be done with them.  None of them have complicated returns; it's just time consuming, and I hate looking at numbers for any length of time.  Next year I might only do taxes for the family.  Sounds like a plan to me.

Ok.  I'm back.  Didn't see the doc; Mr. DS just had his dressing changed.  He's supposed to go back on the 22, but he's supposed to be in Mexico then, and they can't see him anytime next week because they're going to be off for spring break.  I've never heard of such a thing; I'm sure they must have someone cover for them while they're out (?). 

Ha!  I thought the same thing when I read Web's post -- Processor --  and being that my brain is having a tough time getting out of second gear, it took me a while ...  MOO!

I thought "processor" sounded better than "packing plant", "butcher", or "Slaughter House".

Anyway, we now have 280 lbs of beef in our freezer. I'm pretty happy at the number of T-Bones that we have. The rest is round steaks, sirloin steaks, a good number of roasts, and a WHOLE bunch of hamburger.

We shouldn't go hungry for a while.

I'm also posting from my new laptop through my cellphone internet connection just to make sure it works. It does. I have an app that makes my phone look like a wifi hotspot. smile.gif
