There has been several bomb blasts in London this morning, there have been 2 deaths annouced & some very serious casulties. There has not been an offical link to any terrorist organisation yet but it guess it must be terrorist related.

They have all taken place on public transport systems, most on the underground and a bus as well.

I'm very sorry to hear about that. I don't understand the mentality of those willing to attack innocent people. I understand Tony Blair is making a statement. Please keep us posted.

He has made a Statement from the G8, he will be leaving the summit to come back down to London, his statement was just the standard we will not give in to terrorists, also that he will be going back to the G8 later on today as he they will not let terrorists stop the meeting.

Yeah its not good JD, thanks for you thoughts and prayers, I too want to send mine out to the familys of the victims, I believe there are 3 dead now but that may rise.

I am happy to see that you are safe. Hopefully no one you know is affected by this. I am praying for your country and for the attackers too. Pray for the enemy that they may realize that this gets them nowhere.

Ultimo, Glad to see you on the boards this morning, That was the first thing I thought about after hearing about the blasts.


It's probably the French ticked off about the Olympics announcement. That wouldn't suprise me in the least!

I said that as a joke to one of the guys in the office but as much as I'm not a french fan, they arn't terrorists at all, this is definatley Al Qaeda.

Please relay to everyone over there that all of us over here are praying and stand in support of our British bretheren.  One of the best parts of forums like this is that you don't have to wait for the "official" response from across the Atlantic.  Wish we could be there to put an arm around you guys, but all of us regular Americans are still with you in spirit.  You need something, you let us know.

Thanks for all you support, we as a country are pretty much used to these thing though, we have had bombings here for years courtesy of the IRA but its still shocking when it happens.

Right now is the safest time to take a bus or a train.  You know they have all been checked and that security will be tightened. Do us a favor anyways, Ultimo.  Put up a post when you get home.

Ultimo- I rose early to play golf, just got home and saw the news.  I am very glad to hear that you are ok, but I don't know how you can say you get used to it.


It infuriates me beyond any emotion I can describe.  I do not understand terrorist mentality.  Please relay condolences from all of us.
