I just found out a friend of my daughters is in London studying. He's OK but was within five blocks of one of the blasts. He said he admires the British and the way everyone is handling it. He echoed Ultimo saying most of the people he talked to were used to stuff like this from the IRA and older folks from the blitzkrieg in WW II.

Regarding the bombers from Leeds, this was a major shock to me, Leeds is about 1hr down the road from where I live, getting a bit too close to home now, very scary, and all born and bred here in the uk!

It's amazing that people can be filled with so much hate that they'll kill innocent people from around the very area they grew up in!

I just can't believe that these damn terrorists can keep finding people willing to do this crap.

Reports recently out of Iraq have indicated that more and more often they are finding that suicide car bombers have had their feet taped to the gas pedal or the steering wheel, suggesting it may not be entirely voluntary. Military officials believe in some cases they threaten to kill a persons family unless they go through with the bombing.

But so far, this appears to be totally voluntary on the part of these idiots.

I have heard that in Palestine they make trding cards with the faces of suicide bombers, can you imagine that?

The source for most of these bombers is the same source that fuels the street gangs. Take bored, frustrated, adolecent males, make them feel that there is nothing for them and nowhere to go, and then dangle a carrot in front of them that promises them instant power, fame, and in the case of Islamic extremists, a "Get Into Heaven Free" card. It's the devil's playground after that.
