I heard a story on the news this morning about someone Tweeting Demi Moore saying they were going to commit suicide and post the video online. Apparently Moore was Tweeted last year by someone saying they also wanted to commit suicide.
In this instance, Nia Vardellos, an actress who follows Moore's Twitter account, saw the tweet and alerted authorities and stayed on the line until authorities were with the troubled individual who posted the tweet was in protective custody.
Vardellos, who is known for her films, My Big Fat Greek Wedding and My Life In Greek Weddings, is being praised for her quick action and compassion in helping to save that person's life.
Celebrities really don't have it that easy sometimes. Remember that guy who wanted to kill people to "impress" Jodie Foster?
