Well, it is definitely Monday. Good morning all. I expect to be rather busy today and tomorrow, so I hope I don't miss out on too much fun here. I have to try and catch up over the weekend. Apparently there was a big football game in the penthouseover the weekend, but I don't know who won.


I am off to take a power nap.

I've definately got a case of the Mondays, I am in such a bad mood today.  My desk is covered in stuff that I put off Friday to get the website up, and for some reason, I can't get my rent payment to go through.  I'm trying to check my balance online, but so far it says it's fine.  Come 9, I'll check again and probably find out I spent too much this weekend and will just be screwed.

I HATE the way the banking industry works.

I check my account online all the time and stuff I charged today may show up immediately yet stuff I charged a week ago may not have shown up yet.

You would think in this day and age they could make it all instantaneous!

Wef, we got no script yet!

In fact, the overwhelming interest in taking part has been just that, OVERWHELMING. I expected one, maybe two people to express interest.

But JD & I are gonna be getting together next Sunday and we'll come up with a plan of what we're gonna do and how we're gonna do it. I'll let you know then where we're at.

I hate my banks web-site. they were down for 2 weeks to revamp it to improve it for "you, the customer". It used to be a every transaction was posted on the following day! Now I sometimes wait 3-4 days to see them updating the transactions. This is not an improvement, its down right incompetent!!!!!

OK, so I asked my friend who I had written a check to if he had deposited it yet, and he hasn't.  So unless I forgot about some hundred or so dollar transaction, there's no reason my payment shouldn't be going through!   I hate banks!!!!

MZ--wait until you try to access your own money and the bank does not let you.that has happened to me a few times.  Even when I deposited cash or certified check.

I'm actually kind of in that situation right now.  I've got the money there, I can see it, but my card keeps getting denied.  I work bankers hours, so I can't stop in, and they won't let you take more than $200 out of the ATM.  And I can only pay with a credit card or money order.  I guess I'm just going to wait until tomorrow and try it again.

Well, I guess my Monday is okay. I was afraid Noah was coming by on Saturday. I had my bags packed and was ready to hop on the Ark. It rained from late Friday afternoon straight though midnight Satuday. That is a lot of water. The baseball fields behind the house looked more like a lake. Just down a couple of blocks the creek spilled its banks and did serious damage to the park and flooded a few homes. I was spared. 


Work sucks. It will be a lousy week.

glad your house was spared fuzzy!


a few years ago the river by my house flooded and ruined a lot of homes. Where I live was spared (top of the hill), but I still got a flood check signed by bill clinton ($6.23) because technically in the eyes of the fed government the top of the hill is in the flood zone too.


plus my spot by the river that I love was just destroyed in the name of concrete progress to save the homes that are no longer there anyhow with a flood retainer basin.

Yeah, I am all good. My property sits up a little higher. We had like 10 inches of rain. And you guys know how dry it has been the last couple of months. So, you have dry land which takes some time to soak up the water and then there is just too much water. The creek is still rushing by but it is back down to almost normal levels.
