Good Afternoon!


Well, I ran like mad on my project and got it 1/2 done.  I'm waiting on an order of lumber which should be ready in a day or two.  That means there will be at least one more WFTR lapse this week, possibly more.  Hey, at least we have an order!

We are making 15 rolling floor stands for bug killer.  The lumber is a 40" x 24" piece of 3/4" OSB with 5 casters attached.  The wood will be the last part to get and we can start assembly.

So then,how does the art affix to the wood?  I'm just curious how this packaging thing works being in design myself.

We designed a CORRUGATED shell that slides down over egg crate style supports and the board with the casters.  The shell is being produced by one of our art suppliers so it has all the graphics.  We're hoping that our client will like the small run enough to place a decent sized order.

My Monday afternoon sucks, except for the FFR escape.  I really hate being held responsible the that which is out of my control.  I hate corporate games--lies and cya's.  I truly do not understand owning up to responsibility.  If I make a mistake, I will be the first person into the bosses office telling about the mistake and how I am correcting it.  Finger pointing amongst MBA's and 40-60 year old men is beyond me.

Much more than people realize.  That's why I have a job.  P.O.P. has a lot involved in it, and there aren't too many of us doing it.  There are a good number of box plants in Florida if you ever get a jones to check out the field.  WARNING!  It can be high stress, usually caused by incompetance.


 


My answer was for Star, but it sounds like your ready for the corrugated world CP.

An update from my bank problems from yesterday: I tried yesterday morning.  I tried yesterday evening.  I tried yesterday night.  My bank said I had plenty of funds, but I could not get my rent payment to go through.  Now, more of this weekend's activity has gone through the bank, I have less funds than I did yesterday, and I tried putting my payment through again.  I had no problem.    I haven't made any deposits.  I really don't understand how this banking system works...
