Its 44* and raining buckets here. Sure beats snow though.
It was a nice day for sports yesterday. The NCAA Mens Basketball Championship was played last night. Duke, a perennial powerhouse was playing Butler, one of the Mid Major Conference teams. On paper it looked to be a blow out. But to quote the line from Hoosiers..."They played for all the other small schools that never got the chance."
Butler lost 61-59 but that was one of the finest college championship games I have ever witnessed. It was right in Mz's back yard in Indy. You can be proud Mz.
My Brewers lost their opener yesterday, 5-2. Now they cant serve beer at Miller Park the rest of the season. (They lost the opener...old joke)
Hope everyone has a great day. I was off yesterday and finished a couple songs, so it was a nice day.
Oh yeah, there's tons of hub-bub around here about the BBall game. I'm not a big fan of basketball, so, meh. I'm glad a smaller Indiana school did so well.
It's friggin' beautiful here. It's supposed to get up to friggin' 83 degrees. Right now it's 65 and sunny. A beautiful morning.
I'm back at the office again. Easter break is over.
We're only going to get up to about 50 today.
I worked outside some more yesterday. I got the small stump dug out of where the new shed is going, and I got the old clothesline posts dug out. Those posts were in plenty of concrete and still very solid. Now I have four big holes to fill back in.
I don't remember if I mentioned that I was going to be off work yesterday but I was. So today will be busy trying to get payroll all sorted and completed. I hope everyone had a good Easter! We just stayed home and cooked a ham for ourselves. The girl was over for a bit early afternoon and we had lunch.
Ok gotta get to work. Have a good one!

Morning. We have started our day with a little sprinkle but it is supposed to be up over 80 today and tomorrow. The weather girl said we could get near 90 on Wednesday That is just plain silly. After all, it is only the first week of April. I would be perfectly content to have 70. Doesn't matter anyway as I will be stuck inside for another long day. Must get back to my returns now.
Work on.

Morning All- I agree with Dylan. That was an AWESOME game last night. Almost like Hoosiers all over again with the little team that could. Butler should be very proud of their game.
It is gorgeous here in TN today. I love life. All is good!!

It was muggy here yesterday that it was almost too hot. In April. Wild.
The clouds are clearing. if they haven't completely cleared yet and the sun is out. I am going to try and get out of here before the sun sets this evening. I think that is about 7:30ish. I am not sure if I will make it though.

Good day, all! Finally getting a chance to check it. Its been a busy morning with meetings around here. Right now its 70* and getting cloudy. Very windy... we might have thunderstorms later today but so far they are holding off. We are supposed to have a front move in tonight that will drop the temps a bit and bring us some rain for tomorrow.
Hope everybody is having a great day so far!

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
Hi guys! It's raining here today too, but we really need it so I won't complain.
My dog seems to be slowly getting better. Poor thing is so hungry and thirsty; it kills me to have to measure out such a small portion of food and water to give to her. Every time we eat, she sits looking at us with such a sad, pitiful look on her face. Last night my youngest girl said "That's it!! I feel so guilty eating dinner in front of her so I'm taking my food into my bedroom!!" Our dog never did get a lot of table scraps, but it IS hard to eat in front of her when you can hear her stomach growling.
JR - forgot to tell you that I thought of you on my way into work this morning. You should know that there is at least one Packer fan in PA. The PA license plate this morning - GO PACK

Howdy, y'all.Breezing in; can't stay long. It's been a wild and crazy week in my neck of the woods.Just wanted to let everyone know that Maranda was induced last Wednesday after her appointment because her blood pressure was elevated, and Dahlia Irene came into the world on April 1.She weighed 7# 15oz, and was 20" long. She has lots of black hair and crooked pinkies like her momma.Just precious... I will try to get pics up sometime.
I came back to work yesterday, but was busy playing catch up.
Speaking of disasters, Mr. DS would have been working in Mexicali when that earthquake hit.The doctor insisted that he not go because of his broken toe.His friend called from there and told him that he (Mr. DS) probably wouldn't have made it out because of his foot. There was major chaos at the plant with people scrambling to get out.
The plant in Mexico is a glass manufacturing facility. While the company Mr. DS works for is involved on the machine end (cold end), the company I work for is involved on the furnace (hot end), and we've been scrambling to send people and tools to help drill bubblers on one of their furnaces so it doesn't overheat and burn down the plant...
I hope things settle down so I can come back to play soon
Sorry to hear about your dog, Ghost. I hope she is better soon.

Thank you. I'm really tired and been running on Dr. Pepper. I've been taking a night shift with the baby so Maranda can get some rest. Things will settle down soon (I hope).

DS, Congrats on your new grandbaby!! Glad to hear your daughter and baby are doing well. Looking forward to seeing the little cutie. Also happy to hear your husband wasn't there when the earthquake struck.
