Speaking of Theme Thursdays...

Good day all.

It's not going to be as pretty today.  Only 55 degrees and rainy.

I'm in the mood to rock out.  So, anyone have any ideas for a theme?  Is it too early for songs that will always remind us of FFR?  Should we save that for next week?

Morning all.

I wonder if it is a sign that the first sign Pandora plays for me this morning is Crazy Train by Ozzy. It will be a long day.

Rock on!

When our twins were about 1, one day we heard Alex scream 'Aye, Aye, Aye', and we said to each other, 'how does he know Ozzy?'!

'Course, we also joke that Sarah's first word was 'ABBA', as in a request to hear ABBA music, so maybe our kids are just messed up - like parents, like kids!

I remember seeing a commecial when they were infants that had Brooke Shields feeding her infant baby food with 80s music on in the background.  She mumbles to herself that while other parents are playing classical music to their babies, she's playing 80's music, and then she turns to the baby and says 'It was the 80s, I'll explain it to you later" or something like that.... smile

I don't think I've ever seen that.

You tube is blocked here at work, but if I think about it I'll look for it there at home.

Hi all.  A rockin' theme sounds good to me since I'll be hanging out at home today. biggrin

Yesterday my dad took me and my youngest girl out to lunch.  We went to a new cafe that opened; I really enjoyed the "feel" of the place....it reminded me of something you'd see in a city three times the size of my town....hip, urban, fun place to be.  Hope they can make a go of it and stay open longer than 6 months. smile
