At first I thought the still of him was from a vampire movie. Then I realized those were lip piercings, and the ghastly skin complextion is not special effects makeup.

I've never seen that show, but he was a cute kid, wasn't he?

They put out seasons 1 - 5 on DVD and of course I bought em' all.  So I was doing my part to send some residuals his way.  He shoulda used it for rehab and anger management. 

Just another child star that couldn't cut it as an adult I guess. 

(By the way, they never put out seasons 6 & 7 of Family Ties on DVD and my angry letters have so far fallen on deaf ears.  STOOPID PARAMOUNT!!!  )

Wow!  7 seasons of that show?!  Did you do your thing on Amazon saying you'd buy them if they were released?  Supposedly, the companies look at that as an indicator.

Yes I did LS.  I had never heard that, but always figured it couldn't hurt to show them the pre-sales they could have.

I've also signed up for the request list at TVONDVD.com  which I know the industry tends to pay attention to.

And I really did write a pretty scathing letter just telling Paramount that this is why I stopped buying DVD's to a large degree, because they have no commitment to finishing a run. 

To me they've created a catch-22 to for themselves.  I know a lot of people don't buy early seasons because they fear it will never be finished.  (Most shows I won't buy until they're all released).  But as a result sales aren't as good as they could be so they wind up not finishing the run.

I figure at some point SHOUT FACTORY will pick up the series and finish it, I just hope someone from the cast doesn't have to die before they do it.

This is by far my favorite show of all time.  I want the last two seasons! 

 

PLUS, Brian Bonsell needs the money for a good attorney!  C'mon Paramount!  Pull your head out of your butt and help the little guy!  RELEASE THOSE SEASONS!
