My oldest girl is into Death Metal, Mema. I can tolerate some of it, but not all of it. She's got my media player loaded with it and sometimes I'll set it to "random". I know right away when it's selected one of her's.
Its kind of a surreal experience when it happens... more or less Guz will be somewhere in his front yard, gardening implement in one hand, phone in the other, arguing with his brother in their native tongue (some arabic language), with the music thumping in the background.

Well guys, with a heavy heart I'm going to say good night. I have no words to express my sadness now that JD's shows are finished.
Only a few days left and we say good-bye to Freeze Frame Radio.
Good night Sandy. I know how you feel, it makes me a little sad to say goodbye to the Sunday night shows - those few hours to enjoy with my FFR friends and truly enjoy the last few hours of the weekend with some great music. How great that JR kept it going all these years, and that JD shared the music he loves with us so many Sundays. I've been lucky to experience that.

JD, you should have called me! When you rebooted the regular system took over the stream. I had left to get ready for work so I never realized what was going on.
If anyones still around I could try rebooting the stream remotely.
nah no worries riggs. if you got what I got at the end recorded, its cool. its all cool. sometimes that unexpected end is better. more real, not premeditated.

Yeah, kind of a fitting way to end it I suppose. Like the early days when we had constant problems.
Still sucks though. As soon as I got to work I plugged the laptop into the audio system and expected to hear your show, instead I was getting pop music and knew SOMETHING was up.
Ah well. Next weekend it'll all be a distant memory.
