I remember listening to Underground 80's or was it 80's underground? JD was sometimes confused wink
anyhoo JD played "The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" and I instantly fell in love with that song! It is now one of my favs.

We also share a love for "The English Beat - Save it For Later" aww

Reminds me of FFR. Heard it on here quite a bit!

Dedicated by
Lady Strange

Shouldve also said it reminds me of Woo, because I think thats why we all started playing it in the first place.

Pambo - I didn't hate it- lol

JR's giving a well-deserved shout out to Dylan.  Even played "My Baby Waits." clap.gif

I think of Dylan as being one of my brothers....goofy, funny, but always there when you need someone to talk to. smile

I think what Pambo means is that I used to hear that song ALL THE FRIGGING TIME as it was on a TV commercial too... and it would just about make me go violent.

Fortunately these days it just reminds me of Woo which is a happy thing, so no more near homicidal rage when I hear it. smile.gif

I should take that back...It was a love/hate relationship.  I think I just requested it after someone had requested it a bunch.

I think Freeze Frame itself will forever trigger the thought of this station, and then Final Countdown will always remind me of the T-10s at 10.

Apache Indian - Boom Shack-A-Lak ~requested~

True story! Pambo got me to sign up as a forum member because she thought it would get her the ability to request more songs. LOL!

Thanks for the kind words, JR. smile.gif Pretty sure Pambo would be smiling too... but she had to go to a meeting so she didn't get to hear it.

I remember that now.  We were trying to figure out if there was any way you could both get a set of requests, but since you shared an IP you had to share the music too.  smile.gif

I can't hear that song without expecting the music to get quiet for a second after the intro.

Sometimes she tells me what to request STILL. laughing.gif I was going to request "Oye Como Va" for her, though it is not really a FFR memory association, but she told me she wanted Boom Shackalack.

JR, thanks for those kind words.  I love the fact that we can literally discuss anything and still respect each other's view points/opinions no matter how different they might be from our own.
