Grooveshark looks pretty cool. Like Lala only free! I have to get back to work though. JR is causing me a lot of lost productivity making me have to seach for good music now!
That's exactly what I was going to post! I've found that Grooveshark is missing a few songs that Lala has, but only a couple. And I don't see a way to connect with friends other than manually searching for them. But, I'm listening to Grooveshark right now.
I think you can start building your playlist before you make an account, but if you want to save it, you need an account. I made one first before I started adding music.
Thanks Mz. I just made an account. I'm ghostdancer2002. Are you using MzHartz? From what I understand we can add each other and listen to each other's playlists, correct?

I have it on my phone too. I have had it for quite some time but never really get around to listening to it. I have yet to really get in there and play with it.
I also have the Pandora app on the phone.

Can't function for 5 minutes without music. I went back to Live 365, and chose a rock station. It doesn't suck, but I heard 2 No Doubt songs within a 1/2 hour. Also ahven't heard very many songs more than 5 years old. I'd like if it were more varied. (Naturally - story of my life.)
Murs - what is the station you found?

I went onto Slacker and started to create my own station, but I didn't get very far before it maxed out. I guess you have to pay to really add a lot?

SHE BOSS took me and co-worker to lunch for "Administrative Professional's Day". So much better than flowers & chocolates! We went to Abuelo's (Mexican). Never been. It was quite nice. I had the lunch tilapia with scallops & shrimp.
I recommended that we substitute a siesta for dessert, but she laughed as though I was joking...

A bit. The boss had a meeting with the rest of us afterwards and it was pretty somber. Some of us went to lunch afterwards and that was a bit better. I hear most of the unfortunates went to one of the local bars. We're avoiding that place right now.

I used LaLa for a little while when they first came out. At that time though I think they had a different pay structure.
I don't recall the .10 to add it to your playlist part. It was something like you could listen to any song 3 times for free and then you had to buy it.
Right now I'm not listening to anything. I think I'm going to look around over on Loudcity and Live365 to see if there's anything remotely comparable to FFR.
I'm not a fan of purchasing songs one by one online.....I'm still a die-hard "buy the whole cd" from a store after sampling tracks to see if it's worth buying. Or I borrow cds from the library and rip 'em to my computer.
wmse.org on Friday is Awesome! Rock A Billy, New Wavish Garage.

I'm really liking grooveshark. I've added a bunch of songs to my playlist and put it on shuffle. I wonder if there is a max # of songs you can have in playlist?
