home stretch kiddies! a few more hours!


(at least for those who are not me or fuzzy that is!)


when you are at home chilling, grilling out, enjoying a lovely beverage of your choice, settling into your weekends, don't worry about us! We'll be JUST FINE cooped up in our respective offices until the dead of night!


and it looks like MJ is going to have herself one heck of a saturday!


On second thought, DO THINK OF US, and be glad, this evening, and tomorrow for MJ, that you are NOT US!!

JD, I'll be thinking of you from my second job tonight.  I'd rather be stuck in my office instead.


In fact, I'm sure this will make some people sick, but if I wanted to, I could leave early.  Technically, our office closes at 12 on Fridays during the summer so people can take off early if they want to (you still have to get in your 40 somehow though, like working late or through lunch).  I've worked enough over that I could leave in about an hour if I wanted to.  But, if I go home, my husband's still at work, and I'd just have to leave again to go to my other job.  So, I'm staying here until 5ish.

I think Riggs needs to set the limit to 6 on 5 on Fridays. That might help!

Don't worry JD, my afternoon has now proceeded into a new low. Just five minutes ago I was told that there are numbers changing, again.    Must have been done just to coincide with the big summer rain shower that is falling. I just can't win today. Bummer.


I also just told my boss that if I knew she were going to do that I would have left when I should have after a half day. She said she forgot and why didn't I go? As if she needed to ask. Management . I will survive, eventually.

I'll be working tonight too.

The data center where I have both of my web servers are taking us all offline to add some bandwidth. That extra bandwidth will be nice, but being offline is not good. There is nothing I can do about it but, I will sit here and monitor, wait, and worry. About 20 minutes after they turn us off, I'll start taking calls of "why is my site down?" even though I've sent out two prior notices to all hosting clients.
