Can you mess up your back by waiting too long to pee? Yesterday I waited so long that it was painful. But even afterwards, my stomach still hurt, to the point that it hurt to walk. I thought it was getting better last night, but then my back started hurting. Today, my lower back hurts and feels out of whack, and I'm walking funny. Moral of the story: When you gotta go, you gotta go.
But other than that, I'm having a pretty good day. My boss is out today, so I'm hoping it will be quiet.
Mz, I don't know. I've never heard of that before.?.?
Happy B-Day Fuzzy's niece!
It is raining hard right now. Doesn't look like I'll be working on the shed today. I've gotta trench in about 20 more feet of conduit before I can pour the 2nd round of concrete. I'm not gonna trench in the mud/rain.
My doggie has a vet appointment at 2:15. Heart worm check and she's been having itchy feet.
Ghost: How's your dog doing? Is she all back to normal yet?

I'm up and about today, eagerly awaiting my iMac to arrive so I can get started learning how to create Apps. I'm very excited.
I also found out last night that my work schedule may be changing from it's current Sunday thru Thursday night 10:30 - 6 to a Monday thru Friday night 9:30 - 5.
I'm kind of psyched about getting out at 5. It'll be easier to sleep when it's dark out, and I can be up by noon every day. Not sure if I'll like working Friday nights, but at least I won't need to take Sundays off for Packer games anymore.
The Etch made a good point (OMG, I can't believe I'm saying that). I probably carried myself differently as I dashed for the bathroom, which put something in my back out of whack.
Just checking in. Our system was down for most of the morning. I don't even know why THE MAN keeps the office open on Friday's; we have NOTHING going on.
I think girls are more in the habit of waiting until the last minute to go tinkle than boys...
Happy Birthday to Fuzzy's niece
Web, you doin' all that work by yourself?
Hope your new work schedule works for you, JR!

Good day, all. Been at the office for a while, just finally getting to hang out at my desk. VERY quiet around here today.
I went to the "gathering" of people over at the bar after work. Most of the recently displaced folks had left already, so it was morphing more into a survivor party. Didn't stay long though as I was meeting the BFF for coffee. Turns out that hanging at Starbucks didn't last long either as the BFF decided that life has been WAY too stressful of late for me, so he decided some "chill out" time was in order. We went over to his house to eat dinner and watch the NFL Draft. It was a real struggle to not just fall asleep on his sofa.
I think the Chiefs did great in picking up Eric Berry. Its a good start anyway.

Hi all. I've been messing around on Grooveshark today adding music. Might be faster if I just uploaded everything in my hard drive, ha.
Today my youngest girl brings home a baby doll from school for her parenting class. This should be fun.....she has no idea what's in store for her when that thing starts crying at all hours of the day and night....she's the only one that can take care of it because she'll have an arm bracelet that "baby" reads. She's already a little ticked about it....yesterday some friends invited her to go to a carnival with them tomorrow and she has to stay home to care for "the baby!" Welcome to real life, kiddo!
Web, yes my doggie seems to be all better now. I think next week I'm going to start taking her for walks again; vet didn't want her going for a few weeks so it wouldn't put anymore stress on her system, but I think it's been long enough now. Thanks for asking about her!
Mz, the only thing I can think of is a possible kidney infection. That would make your back hurt, your stomach hurt, generally make you feel pretty yucky.
JR, glad your work schedule got changed a bit for you. Have fun playing with your new iMac!
Nope, way too low to be a kidney infection. According to Web MD, pain in the back from a kidney infection is below the ribcage but above the waist. This is below the waist, nearly on a butt cheek.
That's the first thing I thought Fuzzy! Actually, at first it did feel like a pulled muscle, but now it feels like more of a back thing.
Now I'm thinking Sandy's right. It seems to be traveling downwards as the day goes on. I think someone around here has dealt with a pinched sciatic nerve before (Sparky maybe?).
I volunteered to make cream of chicken soup for dinner. I'm out of wine, so perhaps something with spiced rum would be better with that. It's kind of cold here, so I'm thinking of planting myself in front of the Xbox and playing some more Lego Star Wars.
Unless I get some exercise in tomorrow or Sunday, my bars on the Losers page will be blank. I haven't exercised at all yet this week. I've been slackin'.
I went Monday and Wednesday... but have been bad on the dieting this week. Ended up having pizza for dinner both Tuesday night and last night. Had one adult bevy each on Wednesday and last night. I don't think I've done me really any damage weight wise this week, but I figure its a standstill. I don't like that idea.

Well, we officially have a new baby in the house. Her name is Liz Ann. She's part of the "Baby Think It Over" program. She came with a diaper bag, blanket, a bottle, and one diaper. My house smells like baby powder right now.
The teacher wanted it to be one full week, but the school said no.....they don't want the distractions in the classrooms. So it's only until Monday morning. I think it's long enough to give the kids a taste of what it's like to have a real baby around.
