Morning all. The sun is out and it is due to be 80 today. We have had a 10 degree jump for the past three days. It is due to be close to 90 Saturday and Sunday. Good thing the ceiling fans are finally installed.

On a side note (because I know Mz will be just a tad jealous wink.gif), last night I met up witha friend of mine who is in town for a medical conference. They had a "Casino Night" scholarship fundraiser. I don't gamble much (other than my lottery tickets when the jackpot is high), so playing with house money is okay. At the end of the night, you trade what is left of your chips in for tickets. They have prizes available and they do the drawing before everyone leaves. Usually my friends and I are not so good or lucky enough to win anything. However, last night I won the Kindle! In reality it only cost me about $20. Now that is a deal. nod.gif

Good day, all. Yep... it is indeed Friday! w00t.gif Looks like my area is in for some rain all weekend long, but temps during the days should be in the mid - upper 60's, possibly low 70's. I'll take it.

Tomorrow, May 1, marks the start of Zombie Awareness Month... just thought you should know. omg.gif

Happy Friday.

I have a full-on cold now. I think I woke up 10-15 times last night hacking and coughing. This can go away now and I'll be perfectly fine with that.

I'm still at home. I found that one of my servers had an email issue crop up over night so I had to fix that. By the time I got that fixed and everything else done, I'm still here.

Wow, what an amazing day around here!  79 degrees, a nice breeze, bright sunshine.  Makes a person want to skip sleeping and enjoy the day!  I think I shall.

Tonight we're supposed to get some strong thunderstorms after sundown.  I hope they're right, that would be the perfect end to what appears to be a perfect day.  smile.gif

Hey Webster, sorry to hear you're still sick.  You shoulda hit the Zicam two days ago, I really do think that stuff works at keeping a cold from getting too bad.  nod.gif

Well, today is the deadline for the bank to have a plan in place to sell itself. The top brass are still in denial that there is anything wrong. Now we wait to see if the feds show up to take over the sale plans.
