MZ, my wife talked me into that once.  Not my legs but my chest.  OK everyone pick yourselves off the floor from laughing. Never again. It's not that it hurt so much as it did itch afterwards.  Shave, Shave, Shave is the only way to go.

I'm getting bikini area done too.  That's the spot that hurts.  The itching was probably from ingrown hairs that waxing can cause.  The key is to sterilize and exfoliate.  There's a product called Tend Skin that can help prevent that.
