I just got some good/bad news about the "Casting Crowns" concert at the State Fair this fall. It will be a free concert with gate admission. The good news, is that there are no concert tickets to purchase. The bad news is that it will be "first come first served" seating. I think I'd rather buy a ticket than have to go super early to get a good seat.
The forecast says we will have a high of 40 tomorrow with a chance of snow tomorrow night.
I think I remember last May be very wet and cool around here. We have had a mix of things so far this year. A few days of 88* or more, a few days of hot and humid weather, a few days of maybe making it to 60* for the high. Rain has been mixed in. We are due for rain late this afternoon through tomorrow. But I am looking forward to Friday (as always). As of now, the weather will be at least 70 and mostly sunny for the weekend.

Sunday was 65 and sunny...monday was 2 inches of rain...today is just eehh..tomorrow winter storm warning...and by saturday 70 again...wow..I feel like a yo yo
Good day, all. Yet again, the protective bubble that seems to exist around my town held up. We had some nasty thunderstorms last night, but nothing major. South of me, around Wichita, they apparently had some tornado action... and down into Oklahoma.
My day started off with having to jump the documentation guy's arse for failing to work within our agreements and for trying to do his own thing. Not the way I like to start a day... but I guess it will work. I'm definitely not feeling sleepy.
At least it is a sunny day and supposed to be near 70*.
DS... hope you came out okay with the weather.
Ally... sorry to hear you have a sickie at home.
Web... hope you don't get more snow.
Fuzzy and Mz... hope your day improves.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
I've been in one of my phases where I just wanna sleep. Seems like every six or seven weeks I have a week where instead of sleeping my normal 5 or 6 hours I sleep 8 or 9 hours every day.
Where normally I'd be getting up at 2 PM I've been waking up at 5 PM. The thing is, the extra sleep never seems to do me any good. It doesn't make me any more alert during the waking hours.
My sleep patters have always been screwy though. In any two month period I seem to go through a phase of sleeping too much, a phase of insomnia, and maybe 4 weeks of sleeping normal. I'm sure working nights doesn't help.
I could probably fix the issue of sleeping too much by setting an alarm, but I haven't used an alarm clock in about 15 years, I don't intend to start now.
I hope everyone had a good day. I'm off to the shower now.
