Good day, all. Been up since well before the stank booty crack of dawn. Got to the office at 7:15AM. SUCKS! Ah well... making the best of it. Another rainy day here, but a little warmer.
Hope everyone has a good day.

That means you'll get to go home sooner, right Mema?
It's dark today. Very stormy dark. Admittedly, as long as everything stays safe, I love it. I'm in the mood for a stormy day. Maybe I'll get lucky and the power will go out.
It means I will possibly get to go home earlier. Not too sure how this day will go. Its too early to tell what all else will jump off in my day. Waiting on the person we need to hold a training session with today.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday look to be nice. Hopefully I can get the main roof of the shed framed and the plywood put on. I can't shingle until I get the fascia boards on but they won't be here until Monday. I'm getting vinyl boards for that so they won't have to be painted or need any maintenance.
The boy is on his 3rd grade field trip, he should have a fun day. Where they are going is an inside deal so weather won't bother them.
The guy we were wanting for Sheriff won his election. The pool bond issue is still in question. Right now, it is only 10 votes ahead "for" the bond. They have to wait for the absentee ballots to be counted before that will be determined. Looks like our vote really did count in this case.
Howdy folks! Didn't get to check in yesterday because I was on the first grade field trip with Isaac. Hope y'all weren't too worried because of the storms we had the night before.
Where we live, we didn't get but a couple minutes of nickle size hail and a little wind and rain. The field trip was in Seminole OK, and we drove past some of the damage they sustained. It was just outside the town, but there was several businesses and a couple homes that were destroyed. Just sad...

Thanks, Fuzzy. We're supposed to get some more wicked weather tonight.
Oh, one more thing... Mr. DS has a co-worker that was at his farm in Henryetta OK, where there was another tornado, and luckily didn't get hurt when it hit the barn he was taking cover in. He said it buckled in the overhead doors like it was being sucked in like a vacuum then "popped" off the roof and blew them off the tracks.

Glad his friend is okay DS. I am not sure if I could handle a tornado. I had enough of the wicked winds that were around here this past weekend and they did not to compare. There are times that I remind myself that I am glad I don't live surrounded by miles of flat land.

It is a little crazy when you see what kind of damage a tornado leaves in its wake. I'm glad everyone is ok. Hopefully tonight's round of severe weather won't be a problem either. I think my area is just supposed to get severe thunderstorms. Haven't heard tornado concerns.
