If I was more technically savvy it would probably be possible for me to actually pull the actual cartoon, but... I'm not so....  Dylan's last comment in the Friday thread made me think of this topic.  I have tons of Far Side that I love but... one of my favorites is:

Noah looking down at all of the animals before they board and says, "alright, we're going to do this in alphabetical order" and the zebra in his bubble says, "damn".

Were you all into far side?  What's your faves

I don't remember many of them. But I know I enjoyed the "blah blah rover, blah blah" one mentioned in the other thread.

I never really got into reading the comics page of the paper. But I'd probably enjoy it. Sounds like my kind of humor. smile.gif

Some other favorite:

two mosquitoes are sucking on an arm.  One is swelling up like a balloon.  His partner goes, "Pull out, pull out, you've hit an artery!".

A dog is proudly hanging his head out the car window telling the dog next door, "And after we go to the grocery, I'm going to the vet to get Tutored."

I love the Far Side too.

A couple of my favorites . . .

Wolves are holding sheep up over buckets of "Sheep Dip" and one says to the other: "I don't know about you, but I'm addicted"


Another is a sign stuck to the dryer next to it's open door that says "Cat Fud". There is a cat in front of it curiously looking into the dryer. Peeking around the corner is the dog saying "Oh Pleeze, Oh Pleeze".

I couldn't get the image to copy, but there is one with a guy standing there with the devil outside of 2 doors, one marked "Damned if you do", the other "Damned if you don't". Devil is prodding him with the pitch fork saying, "C'mon, c'mon. It's one or the other."

There's two bears in the sights of a hunting rifle.  The one bear has a cheezy grin on his face and is pointing to his partner so the hunter will shoot him instead.
