Morning all. It is going to be another hot and humid one around here, but at least it is the last day of the week for me. Yay! Of course it will only be 70 tomorrow with clouds while I am off. That is okay because the weekend is supposed to be beautiful.
Is it 5pm yet? (And don't tell me that somewhere it is, I want to know if it is here.)

Yep, I'm going to visit my grandparents in Florida. We're a bit strapped for cash, so it'll probably be several days of laying on the beach. But that's perfectly fine with me!
Good day, all! Its bright and sunny here.... gonna be hot and muggy as well. Ah well... good for working on the house. Still waiting for the boy to get here so we can go back to Home Depot and get some more lumber.
Had lots of fun last night at the party. Got home around 1 AM and decided to post the party pictures. When that was done, I was ready to go to sleep. All was great til around 4:30AM when I was startled awake by a far off, but loud crash. Sounded like a car hitting something... which I'm going to guess at being a power pole. About 5 seconds later, the power went out in my whole neighborhood. I got up and looked outside... no lights in any of the surrounding houses, no street lights... nuthin! Hope no one got hurt, but it sure sounded bad to me.
