Grrr. Post office FAIL!

I hate the whole "Fail" bit, but it was the best I could come up with.

I ordered my stamps online for the first time.  besides the fact that for some reason it takes the post office 3 business days to hand a book of stamps to my mailman to deliver to me, they charged me a BUCK to do it!

WTH!

They could have mailed the damn things to me for the cost of a stamp!

Yeah, so am I! Welcome to the club ya damn post office!

What kills me is, it costs them more to pay people and heat/cool/pay-a-lease on a building than it does to just mail out supplies when you order them, so why charge me? Your damn delivery guy IS COMING HERE ANYWAY!

You know one day they'll do away with branch offices and make you do everything online anyway. It's coming, mark my words. It may be 20 years from now, but it's coming.

It's like the DMV with the yearly sticker renewal. There's a charge no matter how you do it. Online? $3 online charge. Window at the emission testing place? $3 courtesy charge (let me tell you, the word courtesy has no business being used in ANY sentence about the DMV). Mail it in? $2 check acceptance fee.

BITE ME IN MY ROSY RED A** ALL YOU GOVERNMENT AND QUASI-GOVERNMENT AGENCIES!!!!!!!

And I know it's "only a buck". But I ordered a book of stamps for crying out loud. That's a 15% added fee.

I could accept paying for postage. It would be ridiculous, but I could accept it. That would be 44 cents. They charged me 15% no.gif

I just want to win a SMALL lottery, give the government their 50 percent, and then move far far away and live in solitude with nature.

They suck. And they wonder why people are moving away from paper and the post office as a whole if they can.
