Since we're hijacking other threads talking about it, and there's not going to be an end to the discussion any time soon, I thought perhaps we should start a new thread.

It looks like in the US, we can watch the games online here: http://espn.go.com/espn3/index/_/sport/soccer-futbol/league/FIFA/

And I misspoke, the first match, South Africa vs Mexico, starts at 10am here on Friday.

I am so mad. I got to watch the first half, but the ESPN3 player quit on me at halftime and won't start back up. So I missed both goals, and really the best plays of the game. And I might miss this afternoon's game. And I've spent way too much time on this, so now I'm behind on work, when I was doing so well.

ESPN3 is only available if your broadband company participates...mine doesn't, so I can't pick up ESPN3.com It sucks. It's also available to colleges and millitary regardless of what their broad band company is....

Access to ESPN3 isn't an issue, I'm an AT&T subscriber, and I already verified that and logged in with them. Like I said in another thread, I was watching it earlier. Then all of a sudden it cut out and wouldn't come back. Can you make it work on your computer?

Well the US vs England game, wasn't great was it! Oh well atleast we both got a point and having watched Algeria vs Solvenia, we both should beat them, hopefully! smile

It would've been better if Slovenia hadn't scored, but I'm still pretty confident that we both can take them. After watching the UK/US match the night before, both Algeria and Slovenia looked sloppy. It surprised me how many times they lost control of the ball. And that passing! I swear, neither team knows how to complete a pass.

I'm thinking about ordering some vuvuzelas (or as they are listed in the catalogs, "stadium horns") from work. We went to a bar on Saturday to watch the game, and it was crazy in there. I wish I would've thought of it earlier, it would've rocked to be the only ones with vuvuzelas.

I was trying to find a new t-shirt to support the US but they aren't to be found in a store around here. All you can find are jerseys and I don't want one. no.gif If I want something I guess I have to find it on-line or go to the soccer store that is an hour away. I am not travelling that far for the possibility of them having a shirt. If I head to my Mom's any time soon then I will stop by the store.

All I wanted was a new USA soccer t-shirt. For some reason they are very hard to find. I had a friend that looked at the Adidas outlet on Saturday and didn't find anything. I asked him if he went a little further to the Nike outlet and looked. Of course the answer was no. Some guys just do not make good shoppers. I doubt the Reebok outlet would have anything.

Switzerland just scored against Spain!  The score is 1-0!

On the Fifa predictor game, you can get 1 to 100 points if you predict the outcome, depending on the odds.  You can also pick one of your predictions to be the Joker, meaning you get double points.

I picked Switzerland to win, and made it my joker.  So if they win, I get over 190 points!
