I just want to see a game where Brazil is faced with a challenge. I like Brazil and all, they're so good it's more like they're performing than playing. But I'd rather see soccer than ballet.

Big sad face. The US lost on Saturday afternoon. I wish someone could explain to me how it is they consistently gave up the first goal so darn early in the game in 3 out of 4 games. Everyone knows it is easier to play with the lead.

Oh, and England was robbed of a goal Sunday that would have tied the game, but I think that Germany was just too much for them anyway.

From looking at the way they played, I wonder if their strategy was to take it easy in the first half and try to wear out the other team. Obviously, that didn't work this time.

By the way, I was incorrect as to when the Women's World Cup is. I was watching some of the "friendly" between our girls and Sweden last night. I thought it was the summer of 2012. Turns out it is next year in Germany.
