Alas no...  but i am sure that my friend will keep up for me...   these jobs are very coveted... kinda like new york apartments.... you have to know somebody and wait for somebody to die in order to get one.

I'm here with ya for a little while yet, at least for another hour.  I've got 12 emails, I want to make half of those disappear and get some of this mailing done before I leave.  (And my boss works out of the office, so most of my work comes in the form of an email, so sometimes one email can take a half hour or more.)

Yeah, I quit one job just to work more at the other!  But overtime here is more pleasant and with time and a half, I'm getting paid almost triple what the other job was paying me.  And, I get so much more work done when there's no phones and no one else here.  Until, of course, some rude person calls my line directly!

I work better in the evening. And doesn't everyone accomplish more when there is no one around for interruptions? No phone calls, people stopping by, no more e-mail coming in. The best is that I can turn FFR up louder. I have to watch during the day because I am in a cubicle.

I love the part about being able to turn my radio up louder!  I try not to turn it up too loud during the day, because hearing other people's music can be annoying.  We had some volunteers in today that had the radio in the mail room up too loud, and it was annoying because I didn't want to have to turn mine up any louder.  I also try to keep mine quiet enough that when I get phone calls the caller doesn't hear it in the background.  (I usually mute it for most calls too.)


I don't know if I work better in the evenings, I just work better when I don't have to worry about other people.  I like being able to get lost in my work, I get so much more accomplished that way!

Thats why I hang out late. All the turkeys have gone home to roost. I get the whole show to myself- it is then, and there, I make miracles happen!


One time at night I had freeze frame tuned into 3 different computers in 3 different areas of the building that I was running around in. I did not miss a note!!

Unfortunately, I am with you tonight JD. But not for too long. It is dart night so I have to be out of here by 6:45pm. Granted that is still over an hour in ot. I was on roll with the stuff that really needed to be finished yesterday until my boss made me stop and gather information for the auditors. !#$%^&*()+ auditors! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. No I am even further behind and I can't stay tonight to finish all of it. I sure hope I get close.
