And of course it is still raining here. Oh well... at least it isn't cold. Didn't get anything done on the outside of the house this weekend. Did get the stuff we took off the house to the dump. Did get some house cleaning and laundry done.
Hope everyone has a good Monday. It is still too early for me.

Friday night, we had 4" of rain in about an hour. Just North of us the state highway is washed out and lots of flooding. I wish we could have had all this rain spread out at about 1" per week over the summer.
I could use some more rain for my lawn. We had high humidity all weekend and we had on and off downpours yesterday. Downpours can be dangerous. I much preferred the steady rain we had Wednesday. You can tell it has been dry. I didn't have to mow my lawn this week. It had some patchy growth, but not enought to mow. And it has lost that deep green color. I was planning on mowing it tomorrow after work. As long as it is dry, I will mow. The lawn generally looks better after a haircut.

I'm looking at weather.com right now... we have officially had 2.92 inches of rain in the last 24 hours, with maybe another 1/4 inch tonight. I'm thinking I'll look at the long range to see if I might be able to mow any time this week.

The long range forecast is why I thought tomorrow night would be my best option. Rain, or t-storm possibilities swayed the decision. Plus the humidity was supposed to push out today and not return until Wednesday. I thought the lawn would be too wet for me today. I could be wrong. But right now I am in a mood and can see me not wanting to mow when I arrive home.

Today is definitely not an option for me. It rained again earlier. The ground will be too soupy. Chances of rain drop to 30% tomorrow and Wednesday and Thursday will theoretically be dry. I'm thinking that maybe enough of the mud will have dried up by Thursday to give it a try. Looks like maybe some rain again over the weekend, but who knows?
Besides... I might try to go see Pambo after work. She got home from Michigan yesterday.
