Today is the VBS wrap up. I get to go eat a hot dog and chips with the boy for lunch. Mmmmmmm ... Cheap hot dogs ... and chips from a bowl that 100 kids have all dipped their grimy hands into. Hey, anybody wanna join us?
I really shouldn't be answering the phones today... I'm really uptight and I think it's in my tone. Where is the receptionist? She is taking too long getting back from the mail...

Yes, Friday finally arrived. My big 'ol butt stayed home today and did indeed have a sleep in day. I just couldn't take being in the office anymore. I have some things to do plus I will be getting my nieces tonight. I am also keeping an eye on the soccer game. Have to get some sunshine later.

Good day, all. I've been at the office for a couple hours now, but it has been person after person needing to talk to me about their list of whatever so just now getting to check in.
AND in about 15 minutes I need to head out to go get the Kev-mo and head out to the dealership so I can pay for the Excursion.
YAY for Friday. Can't wait til this work day is over. Hopefully I will get a break on the weather for the weekend so I can get some painting done on the house.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
I survived the lunch. It was a little better this year. We had hot dogs, chips, fruit, ice cream, and cookies.
I stopped and checked on my wife after lunch. She is pretty ticked off again. She had a customer in the new bank today had been at the old bank a couple days ago. They asked for her at the old bank and they were told, "She's not in today. Can someone else help you?" It was "not in today" as if she still worked there. They are trying to hide the fact that she was cut in the takeover, and they know that they are going to lose customers when they find out where she went.
The problem is that they don't realize that making her mad will only encourage her to work that much harder to make them sorry they were not up front about it in the first place.
