Is there something you do when you're ready to get down to business? Do you stick your tongue out when you're concentrating or sit in your chair differently?
I noticed today that when I'm ready to really get some work done on the computer, I kick my shoes off and sit cross legged in my chair (no, I don't fall out, yes, at least one foot usually goes to sleep).
First I quit posting. Then I sit on the edge of my chair. I don't know why it's a subconscience thing I do. I don't start on the edge but I end up there.
Good Thread Mz. If the exclusive Penthouse Chef may put in post.
I simply when I am pouring over recipes to serve to an esteemed group I simply sit at the middle of my chair and rest my elbows on the armrests and get right down to business getting wonderful food for my esteemed group of people. ( see the thumping along thread for the breakfast items.
On the rare occasions that I cannot push away the urge to actually do some work. I pull in tight to my desk and get to it. Usually I end up crossing my legs and tangling my feet in the legs of my chair
I do my best to stop reading and posting. But you guys know you get sucked back in very easily. Kind of like today. I am doing a lot a manual work off the computer. Yet, here I am reading and posting. I just try to turn up the tunes and get going. Once I am in to what I am doing, I tune everything around me out.

Mine goes hot and cold. I run reports and build templates and scrips, while they are running, I just sit back and enjoy, but when they are finished it is all work again and that is when I get quiet on the boards, and even ffr gets turned down a few decibles.
