Morning all. I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday weekend. It was a hott one here. (Yes, that is hot with two t.) It is due to hit 100 again today. Thankfully the humidity has not really been here, otherwise it would be plain ugly outside.
Time to get back to month and quarter end stuff. Work on.

I was looking at the forecast last night to see that the high is suppose to be 100, maybe 102. The low will be 80. Yes, 80 for the low. It looked strange to me.
We don't hit 100 too often. We do the high 90's thing a lot.
I do have to say that my front lawn could not be any more brown. We haven't had rain in weeks. The river and the creek are showing it too.

We're looking at a pretty nice week . . . . Low 80's all the way through Saturday.
I got new gutters up on two areas of roof yesterday. There is a 50% chance of rain tomorrow, I hope it does so I can check for leaks.

Well, that's what it is right now. I get bored with the pics and every so often, I go through and update pics on contacts. My phone will pull pics right from FaceBook, let me crop them, and then set them as contact photos. That makes it real easy to stay updated.
I have one friend who I won't name (Fuzzy) who isn't on FaceBook (Fuzzy) and won't send (Fuzzy) me a pic (Fuzzy) to use in my contact list (Fuzzy). It makes me sad to see the generic pic for that (Fuzzy) contact.
Good day, all. Its not so hott here. Presently only about 73* but it is raining. Again. The forecast for later today and in fact for the rest of the week is rain. Highs in the mid-80's and lots of rain. Ah well... perhaps it will clear out by next weekend.
Not a happy day in my world... the boy heads back to Iraq this afternoon. I did get to hang out with him over the weekend, which was nice. The drive home last night was just pretty sad knowing that I won't see him again for a while. He is going to try to get a week off in September to come home for the Bikers For Babies ride. We will see how that goes.
Otherwise, Tuesday on.

Another night of only about 3 hours sleep. Second time this weekend that happened and yet I'm wide awake and haven't had to nap at all this weekend. Hmm. Odd isn't it?
I go through stretches where 10 hours a day of sleep ain't enough and then other times I go through stretches like this where 3 - 5 is more than enough.
Hey All, Milwaukee has finished yet another run of Summerfest! Saturday night was Modest Mouse, Counting Crows and John Hiatt. Hiatt had the best sound, Crows rocked the most, Mouse... well, maybe they aren't my cup of java. Sunday eve, AWB, SilverSun Pickups and DEVO! DEVO Ruled!! Pickups, fine young talent but, DEVO Rocked! oh, AWB... lounge. We take off for MI this Thursday. Hmm, hope it's good drivin'
