Huey Lewis In Indiana

Saw Huey Lewis & The News in thier Live at 25  concert tour yesterday (I would have written in sooner, but the problems with the forums prevented it....

I loved it...The sound system in Star Plaza sucked, but the concert itself was awesome..."Power of Love" was of course, my favorite, & I liked the new arrangement of "Do You Believe In Love", though I really like the original version of that song, So I was plesantly surprised & slightly disappointed at the same time. If they come through again...I'll definitely be getting tix again...closer next time....

I think your location in the Star Plaza makes a big difference in the acoustics, when I was there a few years ago it was top notch.

I just watched the live at 25 tour on DVD and was extremely pleased with it. I agree with you on Do You Beleive In Love, it was good, but I love the original.

Riggs- Huey was at the Washington County Fair on Saturday night. I have NO IDEA where that is.

Actually I picked it up at Best Buyt Yesterday for 29.99....It's cool...If you press the cover it plays a snippit of the theme song....

As for the Plaza, There was a busted speaker on Huey's lead vocal for the first half of the show...during It's Alright, the must have turned it off or switched it out, cuz once they picked up the instruments again for the 2nd half, it sounded better....

I just can't get over how cool Power of love sounded in person.... It was different...& of course not as clean...but it had a different excitement...I'd go back just to hear that over & over...

They didn't play Heart of rock & roll, which I was fairly surprised about...Maybe Merrillville didn't fit cleanly into the lyrics...

Thanks for the update Mo. Sounds like a great time. I wanted to go see them awhile back, but Mrytle Beach can be too far away some days!
