Its already 78* here and probably going up to a high in the mid 80's today. Scattered thunderstorms also are possible.
I have the next few days off (three day week end...yeay me) so I will probably go to church today and get caught up on some house hold chores and just enjoy not being at work regardless of what I wind up doing.
Soccer's World Cup is played today. Almost one billion people will be watching. I am not sure if I will be one of them. Almost a Billion People eat rice every day too. I will say my appreciation of soccer has increased since catching a few of these games. I find myself picking up on plays and strategy but this isnt a sport I grew up playing or watching. However, it has been a fun tournament to follow.
Hope everyone has themselves a nice Sunday and had a good week end. As my pal Jeremy Riggs once said (in one of his few lucid moments since I have known him), we only get so many good summers in our life, so dont waste them. So following that logic, we only get so many nice summer weekends, lets not waste this one.
Bzzzzzzzzzzz! Yay for Spain! But now I'm sad, the World Cup is over. We've talked about trying to go to some of the IU soccer games. I hope so, then I'll have a chance to use my vuvuzela.
