It's thick outside here. It's 96 percent humidity out and rising. So now I'm in the refrigerator of an office. Maybe if I can keep stepping in and out I can regulate a normal body temperature.
We have very nice morning temps. Was in the low 70s when I left the house. We have overcast skies. The sun may be in and out today. The temps will be on the rise and the humidity will work its way back into the area.
I think I need a nap more today that I did yesterday. The weekend finally is beginning to catch up to me. I don't suppose it is Friday or even Thursday yet, it it?

Good morning all. It's going to be another sweltering day here too.....we've had more days of temps in the 90s this summer than we've had in the past few years. While I like it warm, all this dang humidity can blow on out of here any time; I've had enough! We really need some rain; the grass is all crunchy when I walk on it and I haven't had to mow in almost 4 weeks now.
My husband starts another week of vacation this Friday night. He doesn't know it yet, but we're staying home and getting the basement cleaned up, the garage cleaned out, and the shed cleaned out. I don't know how the man accumulates so much junk, but it's gotta go! And if he gets lippy about it, he might find himself out at the curb too!
I've gotta do laundry today. Think I'll blast FFR's station through the house to make this chore a little less tedious.
Good day, all. Yep... it is all extra sauna like here too. We are in a heat advisory until something like Thursday. Heat indicies of 105*+ every day this week. I'll still take this over wind chills of -25* any day.
I'm glad Monday is over. Not quite sure what this day is going to be like. I know I have some of my real job to do if I can ever get the data I need to do it supplied to me in a format which I can actually read. The guys have all been around to check on me since I was in such a P.O.S. mood yesterday... I'm sure someone has reported back to the boss that I'm less angry today. As I told them, I know the answer to the situation is that I need to STFU and deal, so that is what I'm doing. Doesn't mean I have to enjoy it or do so happily... just means I have to do it. Best bet for all is to just leave me to being pist until I get over it because trying to talk me out of being pist will only make it worse.
Anyhoo... planning on firing up the music stream here in a few and enjoying the tunes. That will make this day much nicer.

I don't think I have mowed in about 8-10 weeks. My front lawn is beyond gone. I am just going to have to babay it when it gets cooler in September and it starts to heal. The little bit of rain we have had in the past two weeks did encourage some weed growth though. I hate that. I need to get to those.
