Good day, all. Chillin' at Camp Happy... still waiting on some info so I can work on one of my projects. Not much else going on at the moment, so what's up with you?

Not much here either. Still working on my internal audit/use tax liability project. So there has been some tax code reading this morning. Boring. But hey, my entire job is boring.
I am also trying to decide if I want to study for and then take the Enrolled Agent exam. It'll give me privileges in dealing with the IRS. It may not help me exactly here at work, but it would be good for the handful of returns I do on the side. And if I am not going to study and sit for the CPA exam, this accredidation will still be good to have.

Not much, it's been pretty quiet for the most part. A couple kids running down the road, the occasional vehicle going by, etc. Oh, the Willow tree is weeping . . . I don't know what it's so sad about.
Heat index is supposed to get up to 113 or 115, depending on which weather man you listen to.
I had another bad dream last night. I have plenty of weird dreams, but an actual bad dream is very rare for me. To have two in the past 3 days is a bit disconcerting.
In the first one, Brian fell asleep on the couch, and I was in bed. A friend of Brian's needed a place to stay, so since the couch was taken, he took Brian's place in the bed. In the middle of the night, I was having a good dream, and started making love to my husband. Only I woke up to find it was the friend instead! Ew! Ack ack ack!
Then last night's was even worse, and I even woke up with a shout. My grandpa was losing his mind, and had started eating his own hand. He was missing fingers where he had chewed them off. Then he chewed off his whole hand, and I found out by finding it in a tupperwear container that he had tried to hide in the bathroom. When he saw that I had found it, he tried making me eat my own hand. I ran away to get my grandma, and found her going nuts trying to cure him. She had been reading books about how to help him, but went nuts, and was cutting her forehead with nail scissors.
I've been pretty stressed out for a while. The weird part is that the stress level this week is a bit lower than last week. Rex is out of the picture now. Brian's back unemployment payments are starting to roll in. So it's weird that now that things are settling down, at least a little, that I would start having bad dreams.
Your mind is probably just now getting a chance to sort through what all has been going on. Sometimes it takes a little bit to catch up the mental filing system.
