Our church praise team is leading a "gospel sing along" starting at 6:00pm at the farmer's market in the "city square" park. It should be fun, but it will be long and hot . . . 95 degrees of hot.
We are leading 14 songs ourselves, then there are other groups doing a few specials too. Eight of these 14 songs are new to me and I've only had two evenings to practice. As our leader put it, "it will be very loose".
Mornning. I am not really sure which day it is. I seem a little confuzzed this morning. Traffic sucked as there was a busy road closed this morning near the office. That backed up other roads. It also brought out the stupid people. As I was extremely close to the office, two of these stupid people decided it was okay for them to pull out in front of me. The first one decided to make a left in front of me into a parking place. It should be noted that (at the time) there wasn't anyone behind me. He almost got his right front fender smashed and my foot up his ass. Jackass. As I then proceeded about 500 feet further, I guess the man at the stop sign didn't want to wait anymore. That way has the stop sign as the way I was coming doesn't. He must have felt he waited long enough because he slammed on the gas. Then he had to slam on the brakes because after he tried to go through the intersection there were two cars stopped because the first one was tuirning left. This guy couldn't even clear the insection and almost had my front end in his back quarter panel. Jackass number two. I want to go home.
Maybe the rain has brought out the idiots for the day. The rain has really just begun falling a little in the last two hours. It is suppose to be heavy at time today. I don't mind. We need it badly. Just as long as it stops between 4 and 7pm. Then it can start again.
I hate the drive to work.

Howdy. The weatherman said it's supposed to be 104 today . I take Isaac to finish up his testing today. Still haven't heard from the school assist. superintendent if he can remain on an open transfer or if it will indeed be revoked . I'm just ready for this week to be over...

Good day, all. Its been busy so far for me. Dealing with yet another uber-annoying issue from new team. Yes, it is hot. Supposed to be a high of 98* today with a heat index around 112*.
The boy isn't working on the house today, but plans to be up tomorrow... so I'm likely taking the day off to help. Aside from that, I'd like to get started on the painting.
Anyhoo... praying for the strength to resist the urge to go punch someone in the throat. In other words, SSDD.

Well, Isaac finished his testing at the psychiatry place. We won't be able to get in to hear the results and recommendations until September 18! And to top it off, Mr. DS will not be able to attend because he will be in Colorado then. I will have to volunteer my MIL.
I did get a call back today from the school assistant superintendent. After I reassured him and he the principal that we are doing everything we can to get Isaac help with his "issues", the verdict is that the transfer will remain open and Isaac will be allowed to continue going to the same school.
