Given their popularity around here, how many of you are planning to buy the new DVD Muppet Show set coming out this month? They're coming out in seasonal sets I think with the first entire season being issued this month. I got the VCR version Time-Life released way back when I wasn't smart enough to buy the DVD version... But they never released ALL of them.. just episodes they thought would sell. It looks like this is everything, sans some cuts here and there where they couldn't get the song reproduction rights.
I just saw this the other day. I was thinking about it. I have two nieces that would enjoy them. I have a couple of the video tapes from way back when. I guess it wasn't all that long ago.

I saw it on one of those $19.99 for some such television commercials... You can get ut in Amazon but it's more... Is the TV gimmick to then overcharge for the rest of the seasons?
I will probably buy it too, but I'll wait a while. I have 7 dvds I haven't even opened yet that I've had for a year, so adding another one isn't the wisest idea.
I don't order many DVD sets.. but I DID just order the boxed set for Invader Zim. May have to wait for Muppets too, financially speaking. What boxed sets of CDs or DVDs have you guys bought that you just HAD to have?
Musically, I have the ELO and Pink Floyd boxed sets. DVD, I've bought Pee-Wee's Playhouse and now Invader Zim boxed sets.
Pee Wee's Playhouse is on DVD? I'll have to get that for myself. I still love all the adult humor that went right over the kiddies heads. ....and MissYvonne.....need I say more?
I agree Ray, it was one of the only Saturday morning shows in our house growing up that everyone agreed on. I had forgotten some of the over-their-heads humor.
My 7-year old daughter loves the shows now. I think we watched every episode within the first week of getting it, they're just as good watching them now!
