I know Star's avatar mix up went over well.


I have a suggestion. That we shake up the requests today. I got this idea from something Jeremy said. He has over 6000 songs, yet everyday we listen to and request the same songs. Not all of us and not always, but it does happen.


Maybe today we can all request songs that we have never requested. Not something that you do not like, maybe your favorite artist and a new song?


 


Anyway, just a suggestion!

I completely agree with the mix up.  I can name at least 15 songs that are played every day. It's gotten stale.

You know, this was actually done once before a few months ago and I think it worked pretty well.

As I recall, the day created a few new "regular" songs once people heard them and liked them on the mix-it-up day.

I'm just happy to see more fo the collection being put to use

No problem Ruby! Just PLEASE put everything back in alphabetical order!

I used to have almost 5,000 CD's on four huge racks in my house (it looked more like a warehouse than a living room).

My sister would come over to make mix tapes or just to listen to the tunes, and she'd pull 400 CD's off the shelf, then in a rush just throw em all back wherever she could find an opening.

UGH! Do you know how hard it is to find 400 misplaced CD's in a wall of 5,000?????

And I'm just anal enough that I HAD to resort them before I could sleep!

It also sucked if I'd add a CD in the "A" section, and then I had to move ALL those CD's over one.

That's why I went ALL digital two years ago. Everything scanned onto DVD's and the CD's were sold!

Ya gotta love the technology age!

I know what you mean JR.  I hate when my kids don't put their cd's or dvd's away and open the case only to find nothing or something that should not be there.


I will still get my fire--I will just request it later.  I have to work late again today--and of course its beautiful outside and the golf courses are calling me, but I can't play today.


Mz--I still swear by the water thing.  I had a i think 370 ml of JD, no headache this morning.  Although I am sure I embarrassed myself last night with you all and the boss.  Not to mention the stench of plastic in the house.  I went to Target and have candles burning everywhere.

I'm with ya on the water thing.  Works every time.


Man, I've got a candle that gets rid of the stink from just about anything.  Too bad I wouldn't be able to get it to you before your wife gets home!  How'd the dryer come out?
