It's another Monday. The last Monday of August. I can't believe it's almost September.
I'm really looking forward to the Casting Crowns concert Thursday night at the State Fair. It's 1.5 hrs away and it's open seating. The way they do that here is they start handing out certain color wrist bands at 10:00am. When those are gone, they change colors. Then, two hours before the concert, that first color gets to go in first. 1.5 hrs early, the next color, and so on. So, if you want a chance at a good seat, you gotta go early to get the first color wrist band. That means I'll spend most of the day at the fair waiting around for a 8:00pm concert.
Web, at least you can get your wristband and then walk around. It's better than being stuck in line all day. Hopefully there will still be enough interesting stuff to keep you occupied.

Oh yeah, I'll be able to go do other things. I'm sure there will be other fun stuff going on all day. I could go back to the van and rest, read, work, go back into town and do some shopping, or whatever. US Cellular is sponsoring the fair, so I'd expect to have good coverage/internet there.
I'm kind of planning on hanging around a little too to see if maybe I could get a chance to find the band wandering the fair and maybe get an autograph or two. They sometimes put out Twitter posts like "We are [here] now if you Twitter followers want to come say hi". I'm hoping they do something like that too.
It will be fun. Another gal from our church praise team is going all day with her husband too. On a scale of 1-10, she's about a level 18 fan. If it works out we get a chance to meet the band, I'll give her a call . . . that would make her year.
Web tried to talk me into going to the concert with him, but it's a little bit longer drive for me.
Have something on a stick for me though Webster! Maybe a deep fried Twinkie!
It IS hard to believe it's almost September already. Kids are going back to school. It's dark out again when I get out of work in the morning. And I've noticed it's pretty dark outside by around 8:30 PM now too. Soon I'll feel like a vampire, missing the majority of the daylight hours every work day.
Afternoon all. I arrived at the office this morning to find that I guessed I was missed during my week off. I have finally plowed throught the emails, some small tasks, lunch and the mail. So, I am finally getting in here to say hi.
Now, where did I leave that list of things to do?

I wish. I don't think that whole "easy button" thing actually works. Has anyone had any success with it?
You may have completed the old list, unfortunately, I was looking for the list I made this morning with things to do that popped up last week while I was out. It has 10 items on it and I have only cleared 3 of them so far today. Plus, I need to call the boss and tell him a few things. I also have a few not-so-nice things to say, but I'll keep them to myself.
