She's so pretty! I love calicos! At least I'm assuming she's a she, there aren't a lot of male calicos.

LOL! Yes, she's a she. And your'e right, it's VERY rare to have a male calico:

Calicos and Tortoiseshells, oh my!

Or if you're not interested in the whole article:

"Males have only one X chromosome, and it is never inactivated. Whatever color gene is present on this X chromosome will determine the color of the cat. Males can be calico or tortoiseshell only if they are born with 2 X-chromosomes and a Y (XXY), allowing one X to be inactivated. This genetic defect (XXY) is very rare."

The best remedy for a crazy cat is to get another cat. Our girl, Sami, would randomly attack people and was just a ruffian in general, until we got another cat. Then she played with him instead, and now she's lovey and cuddly. She just wanted to play.
