Oh the FaceBook Irony

My biggest complaint about Facebook is all the "likes" and game posts. I have several people that I've left in my friend list, but I block them from showing up on my "news feed" because they rarely post anything, it's usually just likes and game stuff.

I have a friend on Facebook who's teenage son also asked to be my friend.

A couple nights ago, my friend in chat asked:

Him:  "Hey, did you see [is son's] new profile pic? It was 80's day at school"
Me: "No, I didn't see it"
Him: "Oh, you're friends with him, aren't you?"
Me: "Yeah"
Him: "You're friends with him but haven't seen his pic?"
Me: "No, I have him blocked because all I ever see from him are 'Likes' "
Him: "Yeah, he does too much of that stuff"

He took it better than I thought he would. I thought he'd be ticked because I blocked his son . . . phew.

So anyway, I went to this kid's page to see his pic.

The top post from him was:
[Friend's son] likes I THINK FACEBOOK NEEDS A "NOBODY CARES' BUTTON on We . · Like

It made me actually laugh out loud because there was NOT ONE post initiated by him. His entire "wall" was "Likes" and a few "is now friends with". The top post was a like about how we need a "Nobody Cares" button.

That was one "like" I had to agree with.

That is funny!

You know you can block games from coming up on your newsfeed, right? That way, you'll never see a "I scored ... in Mafia Wars!" type of post ever again.
