Sometimes at home when I want to get away from my family I hide away in the "department of mental health"
Yay, it's Friday! Tulsa metro is looking forward to another fantastic weather weekend; will it be the last? Hopefully not, but usually by the time halloween comes around, it does a quick-change.
Speaking of halloween... This year it's on a Sunday. Some places in Oklahoma -- OKC, Norman, Edmond, Glenpool have "changed" trick-or-treat" night to Saturday. I haven't heard about our community. They say it's because the kids have school the next day. But I don't recall them changing it to Saturday when haloween lands on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc... Does that mean the "tirck-or-treat police" will be out on October 31, making certain that the ordinance isn't violated? Will people caught handing out candy be fined? Will rogue trick-or-treaters be arrested?

Morning all. The sun is out after yesterday's rain. They said it was going to be super windy (40-60 mph) all day through tomorrow morning. Thankfully it has been relatively calm.
DS - They'll be forced to turn all their loot over to the police. I agree though, the date has never been moved.

Good day, all. I have a feeling this might be narcoleptic Friday for me. Got on an "event" conference bridge yesterday at 2:30 PM... got off that bridge at 12:30 AM... and back on it just a bit ago, and it is scheduled to go through 7:30PM tonight. It is anybody's guess when this workday will end for me.
Hey Fuzzy... I got your text message last night. Unfortunately it didn't come in until about 1:30AM. Figured you didn't want to hear from me then. Anyhoo... I'm proud of you. Next time, do a double shot for me.
Far as I know, trick-or-treating is still on for Sunday in my area of the world. Changing the date is just not right. If Halloween coincides with a school night, that's just the way it is... conveniently if the kids are a little tired the next day they can sugar up for the ride.
