2010 ALCS / NLCS

Hey Fuzzy!  Are you becoming a believer in the Rangers?  They easily could have (SHOULD HAVE) won all three so far!  I'm loving it!

Oh I'd be happier than a pig in slop if the Rangers could beat the evil Yankees.  clap.gif

I think the Rangers can do it. I don't think the Yankees have the pitching. I agree, the Rangers should be up 3-0 in the series. We'll see what happens tonight.

By the way, does this mean you will root against my Phillies if they meet the Rangers in the World Series this year?

The Phillies are struggling, so we'll see if they even get past the Giants. I'll root for the Rangers then.

Well, I still hope they do well for your sake.

A Phillies / Rangers series would be nice. I could root for the Rangers but still be happy if they Phillies won because I know they're your team. I couldn't lose!

Both series have forced a game 6. I haven't had a good week, so I haven't watched too much of the Phillies. Maybe that is why they are struggling. They have to take it one game at a time. Hopefully being home will help them take these last two games and send the Giants home to the west coast all sad. Both series will be finished this weekend.

Let's go Phillies!

I hear that FOX has cancelled the World Series this year. They cited some obscure fact that nobody will be watching the Rangers/Giants......only joking...just glad ABTY and ABTP won! Sorry Fuzzy!

ABTY - ANYONE BUT THE YANKEES
ABTP - ANYONE BUT THE PHILLIES

Sad face. I am not going to deny it. The Phillies did not deserve to win the series. They didn't hit. End of story.

And you are probably right, who cares about watching that series?

I was pulling for thr Rangers, but they are down 3-1 right now.

Gonna be tough for them to come back.

Rumor has it, Bobby Valentine is in line to be the next Brewer Manager.  God, I hope not.

The Giants seem to have things in control. Although the series isn't over. One more game in TX tonight. I wonder if there will be a need for the Rangers to pack their bags to go back to the West Coast.

By the way D, what don't you call the Brewers and tell them you want the job. It can't be much worse than what you already had, can it?

Personally I'm pulling for Bob Melvin to get the job.

I do think the Rangers are in trouble now. They needed all three at home because winning one in SF would be tough but doable. Winning them both in SF (which they'd need to do now) just doesn't seem likely at all.

We'll see though. They've bounced back before.

That wouldbe a "no" to the Rangers needing to pack. I didn't watch much of the game. As a matter of fact, I only watched the 7th inning when the Giants scored. Good job by me. As the ball was hit and then kept going, that was the game and Giants would be this year's champs.

I think at this point, any of the other three candidates would be ebtter than Valentine.

Fuzzy, I have called the Brewers and they in fact said yes, I would be worse than what they had.

Its official.  Giants are 2010 World Series Champs.

Only 3 1/2 months until pitchers and catchers report.  smile

Are you sure?

Oh, I know why? You might try to mix football into baseball. I could see the runners going to first base and drilling the first baseman trying to dislodge the ball.
