Hey look, it's Monday again

Good day all.

I had a good weekend, but for some reason I'm feeling out of sorts.  I can't pin it down, I just feel... lost?

Look at that . . . it IS a Monday.

I'm home again today. The boy is still off for fall break and we have parent-teacher conference in less than an hour. Then Mrs Web is going out of town for the day to do some clothes shopping. I have my dr appointment at 2:30 to see what this growth on the side of my head is all aboot.

Did you see what I did there . . . . "aboot" ?? That was for JR. smile.gif

Good day, all. It was a busy weekend for me. I spent about 5 hours of Saturday raking and bagging the leaves in my front yard. Sunday I hooked up a surround sound system for the TV in my bedroom. w00t.gif, then decided to be a big girl and do a maintenance on my heating system so it will be ready to go when the cold hits. Spent the rest of the day watching football and doing laundry.

I did suffer a senseless loss over the weekend... It seems my Samsung M330 (phone on my employee account) decided that it was tired of my 5+ hour conference calls so it heaved itself into my washing machine and drown. cry On the up side, I now have a very fresh smelling paperweight. Just got off the phone with employee accounts... guess I shall have a new phone in a couple days.

Its gonna be another long one for me today. I'll probably check out of the office around 4 and head home for a bit... back at 10:00 for this evening's episode of "How quickly can you throw traffic to a new SSTK pair?"  Should go well, but will probably be working on that til around 2AM. YAY.

Have a great day, all.

Well, it was a crappy sports weekend around here. The soccer, baseball and football teams lost. I think I am going into a sports depression. Have I mentioned how much I hate the crap shack lately?

Monday... Ughhh...

Had stuff break down on us this weekend. Mr. DS had to replace the clutch on his truck. That was a nightmare because he had to pull the transmission. We have three teenage boys at our disposal, but do you think he's going to ask for help? Then Jacob's car won't start. That is just karma, for hanging up on me and then not answering his phone when I tried to call him back -- Punk. Saturday, my dishwasher quit in the middle of the cycle and it's just dead -- no humming, nothing. I hope that was our three and we're done.

Doodlebug is starting to crawl...

Nice SG. I don't watch much basketball, but no, I don't believe it'll help much.

By the way, how are you? And your son? Still kicking butt in school? Near the top of his class?

Not sure where he stands in his class, but he's got a 7.81 GPA, and after this semester he will have 91 credit hours under his belt.....not bad for a year and half, but his AP (37 hours) and summer *(7 hours) help....plus he gets preferential scheduling since he's a Senior credit sie.  My wife and I visted earler in the months and he's doing fine...Thanks for asking!  biggrin

Doc said the thing on my head is just an "abnormal blood vessel". She said if we don't take it off, it will eventually rupture and when that happens, she said that they will bleed like crazy for a long time. It needed to come off so she burned that and three other little moles off my neck/chin.

Now I can't get the smell of burnt flesh out of my nose. hmm.gif

Ew.

But at least they are gone and you don't have to worry about them.
