Actually, I prefer the here and now. I'm a very independent woman, and I would be persecuted at any other point in history. If I was forced to go back in time, I would be a gypsy during the renaissance or in an American Indian tribe. Both are cultures I'd like to experience, but I'd be less likely to be hanged or killed because of my beliefs.
I'd like to check out the late 18th century and hang out in Boston, Philadelphia, New York and Washington DC. I would like to know how the Founding Fathers did what they did in establishing this country.
I often said that I would gladly be 20 yrs older than I am now if I could have been around for the birth of rock and roll/ been at Woodstock/ seen The Doors/ see The Who open for Herman's Hermits etc....

This one is tough, everyone has made great points, but probably MZ made the best. If we go back, we definitely lose out. I would love to be with WFTR, but that was no place for a woman! I would love to have grown up in ancient Greece around Plato's time, but I would hav eto be royalty to experience it the way it would be best!
Well Queenie, you got a group of friends checkin out the latest tunes at you favorite music store. The car is packed so you don't put it on the floor you put it behind you in the rear window. Well now you stop at the mall to do a little more shopping. Not thinking about the vinyl in the car. Lock up the car and go in. On a hot day the car temps get around 150 degrees and that equals warped records. It only has to happen once and you change your habits.
I would like to haev been like Scott Bakula in Quantum leap and gone to the Golden Age of Hollywood. Posess a famous persons body. ( Mary Pickford, Marilyn, Vivien Leigh, Gable, Stewart) and find out about a time when Hollywood was more corrupt than the world is today. Perhaps even see who killed Marilyn.
I would not mind reliving the 80's and doing a few things different, otherwise I think I would have liked the Wild West in the late 1800's. I guess that is the rebel in me.
