Good day, all! Happy All Saints Day, and welcome to November. It was a good weekend for me... got a lot done at the house, had the house to myself all afternoon and night on Saturday, as a surprise my BFF took me to the Chiefs game on Sunday, then the grandkids came over for trick-or-treating last night.
The Chiefs game was really very good. I was surprised that they got a fight out of Buffalo. The whole thing came down to a field goal in the last 5 seconds of overtime. It was fan-freakin-tastic. One thing I do want to share from the game is this video of a little 9-yr old girl who sang America The Beautiful during the pre-game show:

For whatever reason the local networks didn't really show the pre-game or half-time show events from Arrowhead. That is a shame because it was all very nicely done.

It is a chilly one here this morning. We got our first freeze overnight. It saddened me a little that the frost was on my windshield and my freshly mowed lawn. Oh well, seasons change.

I agree Fuzzy. Now I have to start remembering to warm my car up in the mornings. I also need to find my gloves, the steering wheel was quite chilly last night.
I took the day off to get a jump start on my book. Stayed at the IU library last night until 2 and got over 1700 words. I'm catching up on the Monday morning routine, then I'll be back to writing again.
Dylan, worry not my brother, I'm on my way to cast my early vote today already. I figure why wait until tomorrow? That way I won't have to stay up when I get home on TUE morning.
Here's most of my grandkids... Marshall is Darth Vader, Marley is a bumblebee, and Miah is a cupcake. The little lamb is a friend of the family... her name is Laila.
