Former long time manager of the Cincinnatti Reds... from back in the day when I used to follow baseball. cry.gif I always liked him.

I remember him more with the Tigers. I always thought he was a good manager.

Good manager and good guy.

I remember him with both the reds and tigers.

The Reds had some classic battles with the A's.

The year the Tigers won it, they got off to some rediculous start like 35-1.

RIP Sparky.

I only remember his Detroit days. He was a great baseball man and from what I've heard he was good person too. May he RIP.
