Check out that bar down there. \/ I'm hoping I can hit the 50,000 word count on Sunday.
That being said, I hate my book and want to write a different one. I won't stop this one now, I'll make the 50, and try to hit the 70,000 that Brian challenged me to.
But I have next year's book in mind, and it's much more fun. It'll be a comedy and involve a device that stops time, which the main character will of course buy from a Chinese junk shop. She'll get stuck in time, and find a whole new world that exists only in that second. I plan to solve some mysteries, like where missing socks and tupperwear lids go.
Good job on the words Mz. Next year's book does sound like fun. I still can't wait until you finish editing your first book. I would like to read that one too.
Web - are you having lunch with me on any Thursday? I don't seem to have that on my calendar.

Good day, all. I'm awake. I'm not entirely convinced that being awake is a good plan yet. Definitely working from home today.
We did get the "problem child" switch site finished last night... well, technically this morning...at around 3:45AM. Got home around 4:30 and went straight to bed.
Lookit you go, Mz! Great job. Why do you say you hate your book? Could you maybe edit it into something you like better?
Web... sounds like you are a bit surprised that today is in fact Thursday. Probably because this week has been about 17 days long. Enjoy your lunch!
Fuzzy... You can have lunch with me, but it may be really late. I've not even had breakfast yet.
Guessing I should go get me some caffeine. Probably should think of something vaguely work like to do today.

I'm just freaking bored with it. I feel like I've written the dullest book ever. The things sound good in my head, but when they hit the page, they just sound blah. I don't feel like I'm painting a picture, I feel like I'm making a laundry list.
I'll finish it out and put it in the dead projects drawer and perhaps pull it back out another day.
