This weekend we had Kool Deadwood Nites which is all old cars and music. There was an Elvis impersonator in one of the parking lots who had to be about 50. He wasn't doing too bad on the 70's Elvis music but he butchered alot of the older songs and would do some ad libbing and passing things out during these songs. I was right up front with my parents and daughter when he was passing out Hawaiian Lays- SP. As he was doing this he was passing the mic to different people in the audience to sing. He came up to me handed me the mic and I did a few lines of Teddy Bear and tried to hand it back to him. He smiled and gave it back to me and he finished handing out scarfs and Lays. after the song was done I had quite the crowd applause going on. He took back the mic and said he'd better watch out otherwise he'd be out of a job!
I had the biggest head the rest of the afternoon, but I think I'll stick to Karaoke!
