I took most of next week off (only working Tuesday), so I'll be spending 8 of the 9 days starting Saturday working on getting my business off the ground again so I can dump this crappy a** job I had to take this summer!
I want to take girl out for dinner at cafe bula's and go back to her house to watch boxing and 80's vids. We will play with the kitty-cats. We will get brunch in the morning and go grocery shopping. I will drink 2 beers by the ducks by the river and go host und 80s and jazz 101!!!! Monday I will work on my last sunburn of the year!

Kite flying weekend here. The biggest kite fly in Nebraska is this weekend at Callaway which is only 20 miles from me. I missed it last year because I was recovering from surgery but looking forward to going this year.
Ray, if you get back in time, you should come out to the races. Have you ever been to an NHRA pro drag race? Have you ever had the nitro burn your lungs, nose, and eyes? It's a drug man! Of course, rib fest is going on this weekend too. I'm kinda sad I'll miss Cowboy Mouth, but they're from New Orleans, so I don't know if they'll be making it anyway.
I worked it for ESPN about five years ago it was a blast. I was camera relief at the finish line. There is a huge difference between following a car at 180mph and one at 300mph. The fireworks they had for the Bud Shoot Out were great, shooting them off in succession down the quarter mile track was something I had not seen before.
They do something different every year. And now they've got these cards you can put in a Gameboy (that reminds me, I need to pick up a Gameboy) that gives you all the stats, such as reaction time, 60 yard time and speed, etc. I'm addicted to it. I try following it on TV and such, but it's nothing like actually being there. Our seats are usually at the starting line, but I've sat down by the finish line before.
